Flat maps.  And an SDK.

Hello, I’ve been playing for a little while now.  Love the game, great concept, great execution.

I love the map “thats no moon”, I’d love to see other maps like it, or just anything that wont have me spinning in orbit forever.  In essence, more planet style or flat battlefield styled maps.

Also to add, I enjoy making maps for games.  I’d really love to see an SDK and other player created content.

Cheers guys, great job on this amazing game!

+1 for SDK. Game like this would benefit greatly from mod tools and modders.

An SDK would be nice, but even just a level editor. You would be able to drag cubes and circles and spheres out, scale them, place them, ad centers of gravity, Etc, and you would have a simple level!!!

+3, an sdk would allow people to create the more fast pased simple maps most people love, it would also allow the community to be able to make maps that they would want to play on making the player base rise :D

A map editor would be excellent! But in order for that to work well the game would need a transfer method and cache and I’m sure that would take a bit of time. But an editor just so we could make and possibly share maps at the moment would be surreal, even if it means we all need to learn some really convoluted methods in Google Sketchup or something smile

An SDK would be an amazing addition to Plain Sight. Hopefully it will get added in the near future.

I think they were already working on this. No idea when they’ll bring it out, but I’m pretty sure they’re working on it.

I prefer the map Pirate Ships, it’s more flat than the rest of the map. A bit of variation is needed, but too much obstacles makes it (too) hard to follow players.

They’ve apparently been working on it since at least april. Now I might be unreasonable, but three maps in CTF mode (my favourite) is just a tad bit on the low side wouldn’t you agree? So how about it? Sure, the game is fairly complex (gravity and whatnot) so a mapeditor would be too, but I much rather have a difficult unpolished hard-to-work-with editor to create a few good maps with now than a beautiful userfriendly masterpiece that won’t come out for another five months. Or just more maps created by the geniuses at Beatnik, so long as they’re there LOL

I think it would be more productive if they gave us the MapMaker when it’s done and host a Mapmaker competition, and add the best maps. I’m sure there are some brilliant mapmakers out there, and I might do an attempt, too.

A map maker would be great. We are thinking about the possibilities for this in the future.
