Someone gifted me Plain Sight today. I find it quite fun.
But I’ve spent a lot of today playing it by myself. The first time I logged in, there were exactly three other players online. And none of them would talk to me.
I hosted my own game, and at the peak, got four others in. But now nobody seems to join my games, and when I chek the server browser they’re all empty.
It seems like a completely dead game. there’s just nobody to play with, which is a shame :(
Welcome to the Forums WarKirby, getting more people into games is problem right now but if you keep your eye on groups like LanOps and Epic lan organised games do happen now and again.
We really should use these forums to make more organised games.
I’ve been playing this game with a couple of friends on steam but we kinda all quit after the “big patch” ruined the game.
And yea, getting people to play was always kind of a problem.
I don’t think it helped the game’s life that my computer’s been defective since like the game’s release, and crashes a few minutes into pretty much any DirectX game I try to play.
I swear, the first thing I’m gonna do after I get that fixed is spend an entire day playing Plain Sight… All we really need is two players to start and a little bit of luck!
Yea, well, it’s really hard to find ppl playing this game. And, when I do, there are like 3 or 4 ppl playing, but I get this insane lag playing online. I’ve tried to host a game but noone came, and yes, I forwarded that hosting-port, and still noone came. I’m not sure if I didn’t wait too long, or even if there really wasn’t anybody trying to join the game. Still, a very cool game on practice mode. lol
I need more information about these organised games. :/
I now realized how many “games” I typed in this post. Woot.
I’m still checking for games every now and then (last time being less than 5 minutes ago), but it’s pretty much a matter of hit-and-miss to find a server with (more than 1) actual people on it.
Granted, I’m only filtering for dedicated servers since I gave up on ‘regular’ games a long time ago due to unreliable or inconsistent performance. On the other hand, I’ll play on 200+ ping dedicated servers against my better judgement.
Unfortunately, games with less than 4/5 players aren’t fun for me.
